Prices are agreed before I start. No surprises on the day.
Materials such as rails, fittings and cables are charged at cost, and I tell you before buying anything. Family members often pay for a parent's visits. Just ask.

I spent years installing and maintaining personal alarms and telecare equipment in people's homes across Poole and Bournemouth, over a thousand installs, and before that managing retirement living schemes.
I know how to work in someone's home properly: shoes off, tidy up, explain what I did, and never rush anyone.
Your passwords stay yours. I never write down, store or ask for your passwords or bank login details. I will show you a safe way to keep them yourself.
Questions people ask
Do you charge to come out?
No. You pay the fixed price for the visit and nothing for the journey. If a job turns out to be bigger than expected, I tell you before doing any more.
Can my son or daughter book and pay for me?
Yes, and it happens a lot. They ring or email me, I visit you, and I send them a short note afterwards saying what was done.
I feel silly asking about my phone. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Most of my visits are exactly that. Nobody is born knowing this, and the phones change every year. We go at your pace and I leave a printed guide so you are not stuck when I have gone.
Will you need my passwords?
No. I never ask for them, write them down or keep them. If we set something up together, you type the password in yourself and I show you a safe way to keep a record at home.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer, card on the day, or cash. You get a receipt every time.
Had a text or email that looks a bit off?
